Arukan's (Not so Nice) Guide to Forum Users [Semi-Satire]

I like to consider myself a 5. I try to be understanding and nice - though sometimes I don't quite succeed in that. And I hate flaming. Fire is hot, after all.

A "5" is not extremely rare overall, only on some sites and communities. I've met a good share of them, myself on other forums. But, I've - admittedly - met plenty more of the others.

I'm a 5, thankfully it allows a little leniency for being human, but typically I'm a 5.

I dare not make any assumptions as to what category I'm part of. I try not be a forum-douche but I recall my first few posts all being necroposts.

[EDIT] Now that I think of it, where would pseudo-intellectuals belong in this guide?

All is relative. It also depends on your point of view. I don't think I fit in any of those categories but the 5 (or at least I constantly try to fit the description), but then again, people can't judge themselves perfectly.

It could depend on the situation too, as well as experience. People change.

This was an interesting piece of work. It's a pity JayJ isn't around to weigh in on it, with as much time as he (no longer?) spends on the WetSet board.

It could have been better, but everyone has off days. My inspiration's been on low ebb lately, and I hate it.

Hrrm, mostly 4, although I 3 for a few rare individuals out there. And in complete hypocrisy I hate 3s more than 2s, although 3s that are also 2s are particularly detestable.
