I bought myself a nuk medic pro bottle to replace the one my cat ate, but the new one keeps, well, for lack of a better word, imploding. The more i suck on it, it shrinks up. My gf said it's because there is no air getting into the bottle, but i found that strange. She said to cut a bigger hole in it, which worries me, because i've ruining other bottles by doing that before. Any thoughts?

Back from my old experiance with bottles, you just really got to quit sucking and let the air go back in and then resume. It's tiresome, but it beats cutting a hole in 'em.

both of those suggestions work, unfortunately, the last time i unscrewed the bottle cap last night, i ended up drowning in chocolate milk. Lesson learned for sure. >< Thanks guys.

That or you gotta go out and experiment with different bottles and such. Other than that, I don't know... maybe they should make one that is metal...with spikes.... and... plays music.

Yeh, I have that problem sometimes with mine.....I just stop suckling for a bit and let air fill it up.

Sucking like a baby does includes letting air through the sides of your mouth to go back into the bottle.

That's why I like the Nuk sippy cups with the silicone spout. It's almost just like a bottle, only it is so much easier to drink from.

As for the bottle problem, the allowing air to get back in works for me.

The more you suck out of a bottle, the less matter there is remaining inside, making the bag of a bottle contract. Poking a small hole or two would probably help. Just be sure that they are very small so that the bottle will not fall apart.

Well, the only bottle I ever drink out of (I rarely drink from bottles since I'm rarely the baby) is my girlfriend's which works quite well. The only problem with this one is that from time to time, the nipple becomes loose and leaks :-\
