Just going to drop a few quick notes before I have to get running.

-Still traveling and won't be back to Japan till this September.

-Accepted a new job offer, and will be coming back to the states shortly after Christmas this year. It works out well since I only had a year left on my work visa any way.

-My wifey and I have been talking about starting a family when I get back home.

-I'm going to try and figure out a way to 'pass the torch' so to speak on FTT some time next year. I've been running the website(s) for roughly eight years and I can't imagine myself doing it forever. I *CAN* promise that I will never stop writing and working on my many projects related to the community. Ideally I'd like to join the ranks of Long_Rifle, RF_Switched, Gray Cloud, Incognito and various other venerable contributors as someone who only occassionally drops by to share whatever I've been working on. I could never give up on my friends, my works, or this community; I just think its time the new generation started preparing to step up to replace the old guard =D

Congrats on the new job offer and starting a family is a big step, and it's really fun even before the baby is born because you can feel them kick and they already show some of their personality and and... it's like... gah... i don't knoooow

It's seriously been 8 years? I think, if I think about it, I've probably followed this site and it's forum for about...4 years, maybe 5. There were 3 to 4 before that? Most of the activity (Art, stores, and such) have been since the big reformat, and I suppose the forum really brought traffic. But anyway, I'm ranting, I'm just amazed at the 8 years. Whoever you pass the site management on to, I hope they work as well as you.

It is sad to hear you will be stepping back from the community C.S. You started a small, humble website to host your writings, and now look at what it has blossomed into.

For all the shit and garbage (Both literal in some threads) that is on the forum, and occasionally the website, all in all I'd say a lot more good comes out of FTT then bad. I also sincerely wish that whomever gets the privilege of taking over does as fine a job as you.

Anywho, best of luck in the future C.S, and I hope you update more frequently then some of the other "venerable" veterans.

ah possibly the neatest part of life; bringing new life. I shall join the others by encouraging you to do the best for you life. I have no idea who would help take over the wheel of FTT, however I've already offered you my tech, however I'm not devoted enough to be anywhere near a lead.

I really hope this forum stays strong, the site you spawned this forum off of has spawned too great of a community.

Ah and hexxus we're immature it's in our nature =P. A place like this will always see mroe of it than normal, but it usually works out, which is why this site is so great.

8 years huh? Wow, I remember when I first joined and pretended to be a furry to fit in.

I can still remember reading one of your stories for the first time. That was maybe...what, four, five years ago? In any case, while it sucks to hear that you're stepping down, it's totally understandable. I wish you the best of luck with your family but am glad to hear you'll be sticking around, even if not as much as before.

Yeah, I know I sometimes took what you wrote about my stories the wrong way, but I do wish you luck in your journey through life with your family, work and everything else. I'm sure all of us at FTT will miss you.

Thinking of this place without you at the helm is indeed a sad, sad thing, but if you wish to pass the torch on to the next generation, then god speed to you. After JayJ's, yours was the first site of this kind that honestly felt normal and welcoming. Like not everyone on here was a complete bunch of weirdos. Like I was truly among real kindred spirits, and not just a bunch of obsesses, 30 or 40-something year old perverts.Heck, if I was gonna introduce someone curious, I'd rather bring them here then half the other websitesfor our partiular subculture, at least we keep the mindscarring stuff down to a minimum for the most part.

At any rate, whomever you do get to be your replacemnt, if or when you do step down, I can only hope they're at least half as cool, kindhearted, and down to earth as you are, and just as fun and creative a guy (or gal, if that's the case for them) as you are and have been.

Hey C.S., while I got your attention, have you seen any bands of people in multicolored armor and spandex running around fighting monsters, demons,and whatever else have you while over in Japan, have you? =P Just thought I'd ask.

Who can possibly replace CS!? He's not only an epic writter, he's one awesome admin as well! Who is even close to being half as good as him? We'll miss you allot CS. Hopefully we'll survive as well.
