Yup, I'm all for the epic raid of FTT, hehe. No, really, though: I think that it was just easier for a lot of us for register, mentally, when we found out that the forums weren't going to be around too long anyway. There are a lot of lurkers, like me that don't want to post anything either for fear of rejection or because they can't think of anything to say (or other reasons). If there is an epic raid, I deny all guilt on my part. *flicks the halo on his head* Razz

although I might do just a little teeny weeny lick of pillaging

Anyway, staying on topic, mythology is an awesome area to get interested in. Have you read a lot of the popular reads for that, like the book which lists and explains all the deities? Also, whats your favorite author as far as the mythological creatures go?

Well I have alot of just various books about mythology...I wouldn't really have a favorite author but my favorite book is The Encyclopedia of Things that Never Were.

Awesome. I personally like the Forgotten Realms books. They normally focus on heroes that simply meet the creatures, but its a great way to learn about how to write about personalities of monsters and not just "omg I'm a monster, I eat you because I are big!" I think I had a friend that read the encyclopedia, but, then again, I don't know what she hasn't read...she gobbled down my library after meeting me.
