Prologue: The FavorThe streets of Tokyo were dark as a constant rain fell on the pavement. A figure in a gray trench coat and hat walked quickly through the wet night, ignoring other people as he hurried to whatever was his destination. He also seemed oblivious to the scattered New Year's and Christmas decorations on houses lining the streets. Truly, his was a purpose that did not lend itself to the joy of the season. Finally, after the rounding of several corners, he arrived at the entrance of an old shop and rapped on the door three times. After a second, the door slowly creaked open. There was no one behind it. He really hadn't expected there to be. "Come in," a feminine voice called. "Please, make yourself warm at the fire." The figure closed the door behind him, noting the disparity between the spartan looks of the shop's exterior with the opulence inside. It advertised itself as an antique shop but he was sure many of the items he walked past were far older than most of the store's patrons could have guessed. He eventually reached a table at the far corner of the shop, an actual wood fire burning in the fireplace. He allowed himself a smile at that. He preferred the old ways sometimes. The oak chair creaked as he sat and he looked at the woman seated across from him. Her hair was a stark white. That's what stood out the most to him. It was also braided and wrapped from back to front around her neck. The second thing he noticed was the absolute ice blue of the woman's eyes which seemed to contrast with her warm attitude. He thought she was a very interesting person to meet in Tokyo, but then again, given the reason he was here, he knew she wasn't from around these parts. The woman bowed her head slightly and spoke. "Welcome, oh great Tencite. It is an honor to be in your presence." The figure paused, not bothering to reply at first. He then grabbed the brim of his hat and pulled it off his head. He too had white hair but it was cut short, giving him the look of a soldier. His eyes however, were as blue as the sea and seemed just as deep. Finally, in a well-mannered voice that seemed to have a hint of an English accent to it, he replied, "Spare me the pleasantries. You knew how to contact me and knew what to say so that I would come. It doesn't impress me in the least then that you know who I am so don't insult me with false praise. I have come a long way. You obviously need me for something so please, just ask and get it over with." The woman seemed taken aback at his response and it took a moment for her to recover. "Forgive me. I did not mean to insult you. I truly am honored by your presence." The man sighed and said, "Now you throw apologies at me. Just answer my question: `Why have you called me here?'" The woman glared back at him before responding this time. "A debt that you owe has been called in. I'm sure you remember the Wiseman." Tencite rolled his eyes and replied, "Wonderful. Just wonderful. Can't you people take care of your own problems?" The woman lowered her eyebrows and finally lost some of her composure. "I don't understand. I call you here to say that you are needed by us and all you do is complain? You should be honored to pay us back, to have the chance to acquire real power. You're nothing like the other Generals." "I should hope not," Tencite stated with a wry smile. "Most of them are dead." It took a moment but the woman actually smiled at the joke and had to put a hand over her mouth to suppress a small laugh. She could see that her guest was smiling as well. "Good," he said. "So nice to see you're still somewhat human. Now that you've calmed down... Since I owe your people a debt, it will be repaid. Make no mistake however, after this, I owe nothing." The woman's eyes seemed to soften and she quietly said, "I understand." Tencite's face became more serious and he replied, "Good. Now that we understand each other, what do you want of me?" As the woman's mouth opened, he interrupted in a friendly voice, "First though, I have to admit you have me at somewhat of a loss. You know my name but I don't know yours." The woman smiled again before speaking. "I am Birdie of the Dark Moon Family. What we would like from you is the capture of a Rabbit and the elimination of the Sailor Scouts." |

| Chapter 1: The Hunt
It was a cool December day and a thin layer of snow covered the ground around the Cherry Hill Temple. This was a peaceful place. A place of contentment and contemplation. A peace that was suddenly disturbed by a cry from within.
"Serena! Will you quit reading my comics?! This is a Sailor Scout meeting, not playtime!" Raye yelled at her companion. The teen with the long raven hair had again lost patience with her blonde friend.
"But Raye, I'm bored. Can't we just finish up the stupid meeting? Winter break started today. We got out at noon and I've wasted the last hour here. I want to get home in time to do some Christmas shopping with Mom," Serena whined back.
"Well, too bad. This is serious stuff and all you can do is act like a baby. Grow up, Serena."
"Rayyyye!" Serena responded, her voice achieving a truly annoying pitch.
Luna, Serena's talking black cat, interrupted before Raye could really rip into the girl, "Serena! Raye is right. The Four Sisters have been quite active lately. Please pay attention!"
Serena grumbled something mostly unintelligible but seeming to do with Luna's heritage before sitting up and tossing Raye's comic back under her bed.
"Thank you, Serena," Luna stated. "Amy, I think you can continue now."
Sailor Mercury, still in her school uniform, nodded at Luna and smiled before continuing the report that Raye's admonishment had so rudely interrupted.
"As Luna said, there have been three incidents in the last week alone. While we were successful in defeating each of the Droids, the Sisters keep eluding us. I'd also like to point out that they almost captured Rini two days ago thanks to the inattention of her guardian," Amy finished, too polite to name names.
All eyes in the room stared at Serena anyway. "What!?" she exclaimed, "Oh, like any of you could've resisted free gingerbread man samples."
Mercury continued, trying to divert attention away from Serena's imperfections. "In any event, I think the Sisters may be getting desperate. Either they are low on energy or their timetable for capturing Rini is almost expired. It would be in all our best interests to keep an eye out for them and their energy signatures," the girl with the short dark hair finished up.
"I couldn't agree more," Luna added, nodding at Amy in praise. Sailor Mercury was the smartest of the Scouts and easily the most mature. Luna relied on her heavily to keep the group focused. She really wished Serena would take after her more, especially since Sailor Moon would one day have to assume the role of Neo-Queen Serenity.
"Well duh!" Serena said. "We do that anyway. Besides, we haven't lost a fight yet, what else could they have up their sleeves?"
"I hate to admit it, but Serena's got a point," Sailor Venus added, pushing her long blonde hair back as she spoke. "I mean, we beat Beryl and so far, these Sisters haven't exactly impressed me."
Artemis, the talking white cat that was Sailor Venus' companion admonished the girl, "Don't take them too lightly, Mina. If you let your guard down, any enemy can be dangerous."
Mina smiled at her cat and patted him on the head. "I know, Artemis, I know. You've told me enough times."
Artemis and Luna exchanged glances and rolled their eyes in unison. They'd each witnessed the strength these girls possessed, not only in power but also in character. Still, it was instances such as this, that reminded each of them that the Scouts were still pretty much children.
"Just be careful," Luna pleaded.
After each of the Scouts nodded in affirmation, Luna finally said, "Very well then, meeting adjourned."
"Yay!" Serena yelled. "If I hurry, I should make it home just in time to catch Mom and Rini before they go. Bye guys." Serena raced out the door with Luna following close behind.
"And I thought only food made her move that fast," Sailor Jupiter commented, eliciting laughter from the remaining Scouts. When it subsided, Lita continued, "Speaking of food, I'll be baking cookies tomorrow for the nearby orphanage. Would anyone like to help?"
Amy and Mina both said yes but Raye seemed to hesitate.
"Raye? Why not?" Lita asked.
"Well..." Raye paused before continuing. "It's just that they set up that huge manger scene down the hill that completely disrupts the entrance to the temple. We've complained to them but they refuse to move it since it's technically on their property."
"We?" Mina asked, "Your grandpa actually complained?"
Raye looked annoyed at her friend and snapped out, "Okay, so I'm the only one who's complained. It really bugs me that they'd put something so gaudy so close to the temple. I mean, can you imagine anything so rude!?"
Lita and Mina both looked at each other before laughing. Finally, Mina said, "No, Raye, can't imagine."
Raye simply crossed her arms and huffed. She had a short temper that was hard to control sometimes, especially when her friends didn't see eye to eye with her. "Fine," she eventually said, "I hope you have fun."
Knowing it was best to leave Raye alone when she was like this, Lita turned to her other two friends and asked, "Well, want to see a movie or something?"
"I'd love to," Mina said but Amy took on an apologetic look.
"I'm sorry, Lita, but I have someplace to be. You see, I've been doing some extra credit for my early childhood class. I'll be spending the rest of the day at a daycare center," Amy explained.
"Extra credit? You don't exactly need it you know," Lita said.
"I know. I really like the kids though. You know, I want to be a doctor someday, and pediatrics is something I'm interested in." Smiling, Amy added, "Have fun though, you guys. I really have to go."
With that, Sailor Mercury put on her jacket, waved good-bye to her friends, and jogged out into the snow. She just hoped the Scout meeting hadn't made her too late.
Tencite watched Amy run down the steps and hurry along the sidewalk from a bus stop across the street. The look in his eyes could only be described as predatory. Finally, he was ready.
When he had informed Birdie it would take time to accomplish the task set before him, her commander, Rubeus, hadn't responded well. Tencite really hadn't cared. He'd met men like Rubeus many times before and he still wasn't intimidated. In fact, he considered Rubeus to be somewhat of an idiot, with good reason.
In all the time Rubeus had spent fighting the Scouts he had been unable to locate their base or even anticipate their attacks. Tencite had discovered their meeting place in under two weeks.
The General had located the temple's position by timing the Scout's responses to attacks on Rini and noting which direction they came from. He'd only calculated the numbers in situations where all the Scouts arrived at the same time, meaning they had all been together when they noticed the attack, and after school hours, since he knew they were only teens and would be in class then.
From those numbers, he'd been able to isolate a relatively small area. The temple was the only logical structure in that area. Not surprisingly, over the past couple of days, he had seen each of the Scouts enter and leave it.
In the time Tencite had spend scouting the Scouts, Rubeus had predictably continued with his energy gathering missions. In fact, it seemed to the General as if the efforts of Rubeus and the Sisters had increased greatly in the short time since his arrival.
It could be inferred that Rubeus was nervous, but it really didn't matter. The multiple battles had served Tencite well. He'd very much enjoyed watching the Scouts defeat the Sisters and their Droids time and again over the last couple of weeks. Of course, he'd done much more than watch. By now, he had the powers and tendencies of the Scouts firmly set to memory.
"Know thy enemy and know thy self," he thought with a smile. Earth's philosophers had always been his favorites. Watching Amy turn the corner, he felt ready to put his preparation to the test. |

| (soz i upgraded my pc and XP didn't like it but here's Chapter 2..3 is coming when i have found it ((there all in diffret files))) Chapter 2: Headshot
To Amy, the hours she spent at the daycare center passed quickly. She really did enjoy children and marveled at how energetic and inquisitive her charges were.
Mrs. Owens, the middle aged woman in charge of the center, was impressed with her dedication and had given her responsibility for a small group of two to three year olds. She'd passed the time playing games with them, feeding them, and even changing a couple before lying them down for a nap.
By five-thirty, she was waving good-bye to the last of them, an adorable little toddler named Tracy, who was going home with her mother.
Back inside, Mrs. Owens met her. "Well, Amy, I think you had almost as much fun as the little ones today."
Amy politely blushed and replied, "They were simply darling. I really enjoyed taking care of them."
"Well, if you feel that way, maybe you should consider volunteering here more often," Mrs. Owens said.
Amy sighed, honestly torn. "That would be wonderful, but I'm afraid my schedule is too full."
"Oh well, worth a shot," Mrs. Owens laughed. "Try to have some fun when you can though, dear. All work and no play makes Amy a dull girl."
Amy laughed and said, "I'll try to." Privately though, Amy wondered why she was the only one she knew who found studying fun.
Mrs. Owens continued, "Till then, could you do me a favor, dear, and make sure the place is clear? I'm about to close up."
"Certainly ma'am," Amy said before going towards the main rooms.
After Amy's departure, Mrs. Owens calmly walked back into her office. She stopped upon entering and looked at the man seated at her desk, his legs resting against its top.
"Is there anything else you'd like me to do, master?" she serenely asked him.
Tencite finished the last of his cup of coffee before he replied, admiring the quality of the Colombian roast Mrs. Owens kept for herself. Warmly, he said, "No, Barbara, you've been wonderful. You may go home now. Don't bother locking the door when you leave, I'll take care of that. Of course, you'll remember having locked the door yourself after letting Amy out to go home. You won't remember me though. Drive carefully now."
Barbara Owens nodded and walked out her office door to go home.
Tencite got up from the desk and placed the mug in the sink to rinse it out. After following Amy to the daycare center, he'd entered under the pretense of bringing his daughter here. Alone in the office with Mrs. Owens, it hadn't taken much energy to put the woman in a trance and find out what she knew about Amy Anderson.
He wasn't surprised that she was a straight A student. In the battles he'd watched, she'd taken charge many times. What really interested him was that beyond being intelligent, Amy was also very shy. It was an insecurity he could take advantage of.
Walking out the office door, Tencite allowed himself a grin. Owens would never remember he was here or that Amy had been left alone. He liked tying up loose ends cleanly.
Amy finished the last of her rounds and shut the lights in the main playroom. Twilight shone through the windows giving the interior an eerie glow. She paused a moment, looking at the brightly painted anime characters on the walls and the games portrayed on the rug. It was all so adorable but she couldn't help thinking that if she were in charge, she'd try to use things a bit more educational.
It was then she felt the chill. She knew instantly that it was a dark energy signature but it was a type she'd never expected to feel again. "The Negaverse?" she whispered. But she knew that couldn't be. Queen Beryl had been destroyed by Sailor Moon and with that, her army had been banished. Hadn't it?
Another thing that confused Amy was the timing of it all. If the center had been full, it would have made sense. A great deal of energy could be drawn from children. Now though, it was just her and Mrs. Owens.
Amy's breath came in sharply at that last thought. Mrs. Owens could be in great danger. She had to change into Sailor Mercury now to try and protect her. Untransformed, she was as vulnerable as any other fourteen year old.
Amy quickly reached into her subspace pocket that contained her transformation pen, the magical item that allowed her to transform into the Princess of Mercury. Holding the pen in front of her, she opened her mouth and... screamed as her entire arm exploded in searing pain, causing the pen to fly to the corner of the room.
"Well, it certainly took you long enough to pull it out. I almost got tired of waiting," a cheery, mocking voice echoed above her.
Absently, Amy noticed she was now on her knees, her left hand clutching the still burning right arm. She guessed she was in a slight state of shock since she had a hard time speaking, "Wha-what, did... you do?"
"Hmmm, low level lightning attack centered on your arm. Looks like I've still got pretty good aim after all these years. Wouldn't you agree, Sailor Mercury?"
Amy shook her head to try and get her thinking cleared. She had to divert her enemy's attention. "What are you talking about? My name is Amy, sir. Take what you want, just please, don't hurt me," Amy breathed, truly meaning the last of her statement.
The man shook his head and spoke in a voice that seemed to scold her, "Don't play dumb with me, Princess of Mercury, it doesn't suit you. I know who you are just as well as I know what that transformation pen is for. I was there when Queen Serenity gave it to you after all." With that, the man removed his trench coat and allowed it to drop to the floor.
A gasp came from Amy's lips despite herself. She still didn't recognize the man but the gray uniform was unmistakable. It was the uniform of one of Beryl's Generals.
Immediately Amy leapt for her pen but was stopped as the cabinet in front of her exploded in an array of sparks and soot. Coughing, Amy watched as the General calmly walked over to her pen and picked it up.
"Why are you doing this?" she asked, trying to buy some time.
The General ignored her and simply held up his left hand. In it, a sphere of blue energy began to form. The sphere rippled like water and distorted the light as it passed through.
Amy's own blue eyes widened in fear. She truly was a brave girl, especially for her age. Still, it wasn't easy for anyone to see the bullet being readied to fire.
"Please, no," she whispered, just before the General's hand came down.
Amy closed her eyes before the ball impacted, the anxiety in her stomach shooting through her chest like a spike. Instead of killing her though, the ball simply splashed across her body like cold water. There was no pain. In fact, her body felt strangely numb.
Sailor Mercury opened her eyes to see the General standing over with his arms crossed over his chest. Strangely, he seemed to be getting bigger. Before Amy could ask why she still lived, she noticed something else. When the ball had hit her, she'd fallen onto her back. As she tried to sit up again, she noticed how loose her blouse had suddenly become, the cuffs falling over her wrists. She watched in shock as her skirt and tights flattened against the floor, her legs dwindling within the folds. When her loose shoes plopped off her rapidly receding feet, Amy was frantic again. |

| chapter 2 cont..
"What's happening to me!?" she squealed, her voice much higher. She could feel one of her shoulders hitting the cool air as her sleeves completely covered her hands. Her clothes were huge and she quickly found she was swimming in them.
Tencite smiled as he watched the rapidly shrinking Sailor Scout. He guessed Amy was just under nine, her face becoming chubby with baby fat. He found it humorous to watch her struggle within the folds of her own clothing as she further diminished. The look of utter horror on her face delicious. Tencite had to admit there were times when being bad could feel so good.
Amy's skirt and tights lay flat on the carpet as the little girl completely removed her legs from them. She'd lost her socks in the struggle and could feel her huge panties wrapped around her ankles. She crawled forward, kicking the panties off. She was now on top of her discarded skirt on her hands and knees. Her blouse hung on her like a cloak and she could feel the strap of her bra against the small of her back. The last observation made her think and she moved her hands within her blouse to touch her breasts. Unable to find them, she knew what had been done to her.
Tencite watched as the four year old calmly stood and looked up at him. Amy clutched her blouse closely to her body, her little toes sticking out from under it. The child didn't even come to his waist but she spoke without fear. "Age regression. A very impressive power. But why not just kill me?" she asked, her piping voice making her attempts at seriousness seem silly.
"Because, little princess, I don't need you dead, just out of the way," Tencite answered.
"Rini," Amy breathed.
"Got it in one! I have to admit, Sailor Mercury, you would have been a worthy opponent. Taking you out first was a must."
"I'm so flattered," Amy sarcastically squeaked. She was waiting for her adversary to gloat as usual. If she could just get the General to let his guard down, she knew she could hide and use her communicator to warn the other Scouts.
"So who are you anyway?" she demanded. "I thought all of Beryl's troops had been defeated."
"Awfully nosy, aren't you?" Tencite responded. "I'm the one who'll be asking the questions, little girl." Again, something formed in his hand, a much smaller, much brighter sphere.
Amy found the sphere distracting but tried to ignore it. "Why so defensive? I'm the one who should be scared after all. I'm jus... just a lit... little girl," Amy stuttered, a confused look crossing her face. It was getting hard to think. Too late her fleeting teen mind warned her something was wrong.
"Wha... what are you... do... doin'?" she struggled to say, squinting her eyes against the glare. The bright blue glare of the glowing sphere. Amy quickly became fascinated with it, her childish curiosity taking over. "Pwetty wight," she finished, flashing a gap-toothed smile.
Tencite quickly snuffed it out, much to Amy's dismay. "Nooo. Bad man! I wiked wight. I gonna tell on you!" With that, little Amy reached into an inner pocket and pulled out a large compact. Holding the comm. unit in her tiny hands she stuck her tongue out at Tencite and said, "You in twouble! I gonna call Sewena and den you be sowwy."
Before the tyke could open the compact however, Tencite reached down and plucked it from her. "Young lady! You are much too young for makeup. This is for big girls," he lightly admonished.
Amy responded angrily. "Not makeup. It's a comm... comm... talky thingy. Now give it ba'k!" she finished, stomping her little foot in anger.
"No. I really don't think you deserve it anymore."
Tears began to well up in Amy's eyes. Without her compact, she couldn't warn the others and stop the bad man. She didn't understand why he was being so mean. "B-but it's mine!" she wailed.
"Nope. This belonged to Sailor Mercury. You're just a little crybaby."
"I Saiwor Mercuwy," Amy whined, her voice very weak.
"Really? Then where's your uniform, Sailor Mercury? Where are your powers? I must say you're much shorter in person," Tencite mocked. "You're not Sailor Mercury anymore, because you failed. Botched the job. You're just a pathetic little toddler now. You won't be coming here to help out anymore, you'll be coming here as a student."
Each of Tencite's words stabbed Amy like daggers. She felt miserable. She hated herself for failing the other Scouts. "I sowwy," she said.
"Sorry is not good enough. Face it, you just weren't smart enough to be a Sailor Scout," Tencite said.
Amy bristled at that. "I smart! More smart than dat stoopid Sewena!"
"Oh please, she's much smarter than you. You couldn't know half the things she does about being a Sailor Scout," Tencite admonished.
"Do too! I know awl about da Scouts!" Amy huffed proudly.
Tencite smiled and bent his knees to crouch in front of his small companion. "Really now? Y'know, if you really know as much as you say, I might just change you back."
Amy suddenly brightened. She so much wanted to prove herself. At Tencite's prodding, she proceeded to tell him everything she knew about the Sailor Scouts.
An hour later, Amy happily swung her feet as she drank orange juice from a sippy cup. She simply couldn't believe how big everything was now. She was sitting in the same tiny chair, at the same tiny table that little Tracy had used most of the day. She smiled at the memory of the little blonde girl, cheerfully wondering if she'd be her friend.
It didn't really matter she knew. Soon Uncle Tencite would change her back and she could go back to playing with her older friends. Looking at the colorful characters on the walls and the wonderful games on the floor, Amy wondered if she really wanted to be old again. Remembering what it was like to be Sailor Mercury made the decision easy though. She liked being a Sailor Scout and she knew she was the best at it. Giggling, she took another sip of orange juice.
Tencite watched little Amy with his head atop folded hands. The poor little dear had known quite a bit about the other Scouts. Names, addresses, personalities, likes, and dislikes. There was a time when he would have turned all the information over to Rubeus and wiped his hands of the whole thing. Watching the little girl before him, he knew he couldn't, however.
He could remember when the Princess of Mercury had actually been that age. How adorable and inquisitive she'd been. It reminded him that even now, the Scouts were little more than children. It was one of the reasons he hated them but even he wasn't embittered enough to want them dead. He had the feeling Rubeus and the Sisters would slaughter them in their sleep.
No, he decided. He wouldn't let that happen. He couldn't place his finger on it but there was something he didn't like about these people. Didn't trust. Who were they really? He didn't believe they were surviving soldiers of the Negaverse as they claimed, simply wanting to find a way home. Why did they want the girl? And more importantly, how had they known about the debt he owed that old man so long ago? Unfortunately, Amy had known very little about Rubeus' people.
Something wasn't right though and he was going to find out what that was. In the meantime, he would follow his promise to the letter. Rini would be captured and the Scouts would be eliminated... but it would be done his way.
Little Amy looked up as Tencite approached her, her smile becoming wide. "Ya gonna turn me ba'k now?" she asked innocently.
The spell he'd placed on Amy was a simple one. It was suppressing the aggressive side of her personality and dulling her reason. In effect, her emotions now matched her physical age and like all four year olds, it was very easy to earn her trust. "Yes, I'm going to change you back," he lied.
As tempting as it was to leave Amy like this, the mental spell was simply too unreliable. It had to be constantly renewed or it would wear off. Tencite knew he had to change Amy into an even more manageable package.
Amy dropped down from her chair as Tencite readied another time ball, anticipating her growth back to teen hood. She giggled as the ball splashed over her, creating the numb feeling for the second time. The giggling stopped suddenly, however, as she noticed her blouse start to get bigger.
"Hey. Wong way. No wanna be wittle! Me too smart to be wittle!" she shouted.
Tencite watched in silence as Amy's arms and legs became pudgier and her short black hair began to curl. As she passed below two, she lost her balance and fell on her little behind. Tears came to her eyes as her babyish voice shot out, "No fawr! Me smart! Me... aaahhwahhh!!"
An eighteen month old Amy sat on the floor crying piteously. The upper half of her body had come completely through the collar of her blouse which surrounded her like a blanket.
Tencite calmly walked to a cabinet and pulled out one of the center's extra diaper bags. Taking out a pacifier, he stuffed it into Amy's mouth, effectively halting her crying. Ironically, the pacifier was blue, just like Sailor Mercury's uniform, except now the babe wore nothing but her birthday suit.
"There, I changed you back. All the way back," Tencite said with a chuckle, tweaking the infant's button nose. Baby Amy looked up at him in fear, desperately sucking on the pacifier for comfort.
High above the city, the structure floated, magic cloaking its presence. It was shaped like the tower of an ancient castle, bringing a regal image to its dark purpose. Within, Negamoon agents lived and plotted.
The interior of Rubeus' chamber was in shadow. The only light was in the center, coming from the image of a seated, cloaked individual.
"I don't trust him," Rubeus stated. "He's not one of us. He has refused to assist us in battle against the Scouts and hasn't contacted us in days. How do we even know he's trying to capture the Rabbit?"
The image shifted a bit before answering in a seemingly ancient voice. "Tencite is an honorable man. He will do what he promises. It is the reason I helped him in the first place, so that he could serve us one day."
Rubeus gave a disgusted laugh before saying, "I don't need his help, Wiseman. I can defeat the Scouts on my own."
"You haven't yet," the Wiseman cut in. "You were sent back in time to acquire crystal points and destroy the Scouts so that our conquest of Crystal Tokyo would not be hampered by them. You have not succeeded in this. You haven't even been able to capture a little girl."
Rubeus swallowed hard at the remark. The Wiseman noticed his nervousness and was pleased by it. He waited a moment before continuing. "No, Tencite is perfect. He is of the Moon Kingdom and knows the Scouts better than we do. He also has his own reasons for wanting to see them fall. Did you have Birdie tell him the story?"
Rubeus responded quickly, glad the Wiseman wasn't too upset with him. "Yes. He thinks we are stranded soldiers of Beryl's and that we need the Scouts out of the way in order to acquire enough energy to return home. He's also been told the Rabbit is the key to opening that portal."
"Excellent. If I remember him well enough, Tencite will destroy the Scouts just for the fun of it. It's unlikely he'll question his mission," the Wiseman said.
"And what if you are wrong? What if he somehow betrays us? What then?"
"Then you and the Sisters will destroy him," Wiseman answered.
Rubeus nodded, satisfied that at least the Wiseman didn't fully trust this General either. "I hope he can do the job," Rubeus snarled.
"I think you will find he is quite efficient," the Wiseman finished.
It was seven o'clock and Dr. Anderson was exhausted. She'd been forced to cover for another doctor at the hospital and was happy to finally be headed home. She'd left a message on the machine to let Amy know she'd be late. She figured her daughter might be at Lita's so she wasn't worried.
Waving good-bye to some of the nurses, Dr. Anderson walked into the parking garage. No sooner had she entered than she heard the tap of feet behind her.
"Oh, Dr. Anderson. I really need to ask you something," a dark haired nurse called to her.
Sighing, Dr. Anderson turned to talk to the woman. "Yes?"
The nurse stopped and asked, "Well, I just wanted to ask you a few questions on your treatment of Mr. Jenkins. I was really impressed."
Dr. Anderson inwardly moaned. "Listen, uh..."
"Nancy."
"Nancy. I'd love to talk about anything you want but some other time. It's late and I want to get home to my daughter."
"Oh, but this won't take long," Nancy stated as her body began to glow.
Dr. Anderson suddenly felt very weak and her vision started to blur. "Wha... ?" she uttered before fainting and falling in a heap on the ground.
Seconds later, the nurse ran into the emergency room yelling, "Somebody help! Dr. Anderson just fainted in the parking garage. She needs help!"
As nurses and attendants rushed outside to help their friend, the nurse named Nancy smiled and calmly walked to the stairwell.
"Tenny will be so pleased," she thought. |

| Chapter 3: Milk and Cookies
Lita hummed to herself as she rolled another glob of cookie dough. It was a little after seven now and in the last three hours, she'd made close to a hundred cookies. All decorated of course. Lita smiled as she paused to scratch her nose, leaving a smudge of flour, nobody she knew could match her skill in the kitchen. "Maybe I won't need Amy and Mina after all," she thought.
As she was about to cut another batch, she heard a knock on her apartment door. She walked to the entrance, her slippers scuffing against the wooden floor. She'd taken off her tights and shoes but otherwise still wore her school uniform. Tan skirt with a white blouse. Her brown hair was still tied back in a ponytail. Looking through the peephole, she saw a middle-aged gentleman and in his hands a baby carrier.
Keeping the chain on, she opened the door. She wasn't too worried. After all, she could change into Sailor Jupiter with a word, but caution was always a good idea. "Yes, what is it?" she asked.
"I am so terribly sorry to bother you but..." the man paused, seemingly embarrassed. "Hello, I'm Martin Webster, just moved into 7B. This is my niece Miko," he said, bringing the carrier up to reveal a sleeping baby, a blue pacifier in her mouth.
"Ohhh, she's adorable," Lita gushed.
"Yes, well, she's also wet and needs to be fed. Unfortunately, I've never done that sort of thing before. Her mother's a doctor you see, got called away on an emergency, leaving the little angel in my less than capable hands," the man shrugged. "Anyway, I was wondering if you'd had any experience with babies?"
Lita paused a moment. "I know a little bit, from a friend, but not that much. Mrs. Stevens in 10C..."
"Politely said no," the man said sadly and sighed. "It's all right really. I suppose I can make do. You wouldn't happen to have any safety pins, would you?"
Lita looked again at the baby, noticing the disposable diaper on her. "Uhhh, don't worry about it. I'll show you how it's done," she smiled, taking the chain off and opening her door.
"Thank you so much," the man said, walking into the apartment. A few steps in he stopped and exclaimed, "What is that wonderful smell?!"
Lita smiled and replied, "Cookies. Would you like one?"
"I'd love one," he returned.
"Please, sit down on the sofa," she said, as she walked to the kitchen.
Tencite made himself comfortable as he looked around the living room. The apartment had a warm atmosphere to it with colorful pictures on the wall and knick-knacks all around. It was designed to give the user a feeling of home, a practice Tencite knew well from experience.
Lita returned with a cookie hot from the oven and handed it to Tencite. "Thank you so much," he said. Jerking his head toward the baby on the sofa, he said, "She says she'd like one too, if you can wait a couple of years."
Lita laughed at the joke and responded, "I have to say, for someone who knows nothing about babies, you certainly managed to get her to sleep soundly."
"That little terror?" he joked. "Madam, I assure you that up until recently, she was screaming her head off."
Lita laughed again and reached down to check the baby's diaper, causing the child to fidget slightly. "Awwww, so sweet. Well, she's definitely wet."
"And I was specifically told to feed her soon. Too bad I can't do either."
"Men," Lita playfully snorted, "You're completely helpless sometimes." She heard Mr. Webster chuckle at the joke as she took the bottle and formula from the bag and walked towards the kitchen.
"Well, let's get her dinner ready before we wake her up," Lita said. She didn't know why but she was taking a liking to Mr. Webster. She rationalized it was because he seemed so fatherly, but she quickly rejected that idea. "No. He definitely reminds me of Nate, that college guy I dated for a couple of months," she decided.
Tencite watched Sailor Jupiter leave the room. He thought things were going very well. Projecting his will ever so slightly, he'd been able to subtly calm any fears or suspicions Lita might have had about him without alerting her Scout senses. This was good. Attacking Lita directly would be unwise. If the girl managed to change into Jupiter, things would get messy and his chances of taking all the Scouts would be hurt. As Sailor Jupiter, Lita was arguably the most powerful of the Scouts, able to launch many devastating lightning attacks. Getting her guard down was his priority.
On a lighter note however, Tencite reflected on Lita's last joke. Smiling, he wondered if the girl truly understood what helpless meant.
Amy yawned as she slowly regained consciousness. The world was a bit fuzzy as she blinked the sleep from her eyes. She could feel she was naked, which was weird since she always wore pajamas to bed. Strangely, it took a great amount of effort to bring her hands to her face and as she rubbed her eyes she noticed her hands felt different. Focusing on them, she could see how fat and stubby her fingers were. In a shocking rush, her memories flooded back to her.
"No!" she thought frantically. "It can't be true. I can't be a baby!" Amy then noticed movement beyond her hands. Looking up, she saw a huge vision. The gigantic face of her friend Lita hovered over her.
"Look who's awake! Hey there, sleepyhead," Lita asked, reaching her hand down to tickle Amy's stomach.
To Amy, her friend's hand was monstrous, easily covering her entire tummy. The sight horrified Amy and her first reaction was to scream.
Lita stopped tickling the baby when she started to cry. "Oh, I'm sorry, honey. I didn't mean to scare you," Lita sincerely expressed. Holding up a disposable diaper, she said cheerily, "I'm just going to give you a fresh new diaper. Isn't that great!"
"Diaper!?!" Amy thought. Fear mixed with a morbid curiosity caused Amy's crying to slow. Cautiously looking down at herself, she could see that she was completely bare, in more ways than one. Her legs and feet were puffy with baby fat and her round stomach was much larger than her flat chest. She actually was a baby and now she was spread-eagled as her best friend prepared to diaper her! Amy started to squirm as her humiliation burned.
A second figure then entered Amy's vision. It was Tencite. Amy quickly went from ashamed to terrified. The villain who'd done this to her was now in Lita's apartment and her friend didn't know the danger she was in! What was worse was Amy knew it was her fault Tencite was here.
As Amy tried to think about what she should do, Lita grabbed a baby wipe and began to clean her. The tiny Sailor Mercury was mortified as her friend wiped her, even lifting her up by the legs so she could reach her bottom. As humiliated as she was, Amy tried to think of some way to tell Lita what had happened to her.
"Gaa baa cha," she gurgled. Amy found it incredibly difficult to form any words, the muscles in her mouth not cooperating with her in the least. She even doubted if her vocal cords were capable of speech but she had to try. As she felt the cool baby powder hitting her diaper area Amy, pointed a chubby little finger at Lita, concentrated and uttered, "Etaa, hep, eetA!"
Lita beamed at the infant. "Oh, that's just adorable. She's trying to talk. Say Lita, honey. Leeetaaa," she sounded out, just before lifting Amy's legs up again to place the fresh diaper under her.
Amy grimaced a bit. "Lita, you idiot!" she thought. "That's what I just said!" She decided to try a different tact. Pointing at Tencite this time, she said, "Baa, baada."
Tencite smiled, knowing exactly what Amy was trying to do. "No precious. Dada. Daadaa." Turning to Lita, he chuckled, "I'm afraid that since her mother is a single parent, the little darling has come to think of me as a father figure."
"That's so sweet," Lita said, taping Amy's diaper shut.
"Nooo," Amy thought, "Don't listen to him, listen to me!" Desperately Amy tried to spew out words at Lita but everything she said sounded like baby talk. Finally, as Lita playfully rubbed her nose against hers, she gave up. She'd given her best and it had been pathetic. Something horrible was going to happen to her friend right in front of her and there was nothing she could do to stop it. Baby Amy's face creased up and she started to cry.
"Ohhh, don't cry, baby," Lita purred. She picked the baby up and held her against her chest. Rocking her gently, Lita tried to soothe her. "Shhhh, shhhh. It'll be okay, honey."
"No, it won't," Amy thought desperately, her head resting against Lita's soft breast as she continued to cry uncontrollably.
"I think she wants her bottle," Lita observed. Cradling the baby in her arms, she took the bottle off the counter and stuffed it into Amy's mouth, snuffing out her cries. Amy struggled a bit but it was useless as she instinctively began to suck on the nipple, warm formula filling her mouth.
"May I?" Tencite asked. "I should learn sometime after all."
"Of course," Lita said, handing the baby over to him.
Tencite held the bottle in place as he carried Amy back into the living room. "That's a good little girl," he said, smirking. "Suck on your baba." Tencite sat down on the couch and Lita followed behind.
"Y'know," Lita stated, "She reminds me of a friend of mine. Especially those adorable little eyes." The baby kicked her legs then, seemingly in frustration.
Lita continued to gush over her, becoming enamored with the child. Finally, a sad look came to Lita's eyes and she said, "At least she's got her mommy. I miss my parents."
"I certainly don't want to impose but what happened to them?" Tencite asked, already knowing the answer.
"It's all right. My parents died in a plane crash a couple of years ago. Been on my own ever since," Lita explained sadly.
"You must miss them very much," Tencite said sincerely. A distant look came to his eyes and he continued, "I've lost many friends and family. You know, when I miss them, I close my eyes and I can still see them as they were. It helps me sometimes." His eyes then shut, his face taking on an expression of pain.
"Are you all right?" Lita asked worriedly.
Tencite's eyes shot open and he looked guiltily at Lita. "I'm sorry, I forgot myself for a moment."
Lita smiled. "I've done that too. Both actually." She looked again at the baby and her eyes began to water. Wiping them, she said, "I-I'm sorry. I must have something in my eye."
"Don't be embarrassed my dear. Close your eyes and listen to me. You'll feel better," Tencite promised.
Lita looked at the stranger. Something made her trust him. Closing her eyes, she listened to his melodic words.
"Picture them both as you last saw them. Allow it to become crystal in your mind," Tencite spoke gently. As he did so, he placed Amy back in the carrier and held the bottle in place with his left hand. He took his right and placed it close to Lita's shoulder without touching the fabric of her blouse.
"Remember what it felt like to be with them," he continued, a blue glow emanating from his right hand. "The joy you had when they laughed. The pain you felt when they were sad," Tencite said, his voice taking on a tinge of sorrow itself.
An expression of sadness crossed Lita's face as Tencite's words and power influenced her emotions. "Feel how much they love you and how much you miss them," he finished. A tear formed on Lita's cheek but other than that she did not move. He had her. Her mind was now locked with the vision of her dead parents. |

| Chapter 3 cont...
Tencite touched her shoulder then and the glow spread to cover her body. By keeping the level of his attack so low, he knew Lita's senses wouldn't be alerted. Slowly Lita began to shrink. Of all the Scouts, Sailor Jupiter had matured the fastest. Her breasts and curves were impressive enough to mesmerize any boy her own age and she had been known to attract older mates as well. Now those assets were rapidly disappearing.
Her blouse flattened against her chest as her breasts deflated. Her skirt likewise puddled on the couch as her ass shrank. Her face started to look more innocent, rounding as she became smaller. Her bare feet lifted from her slippers as the cuffs of her blouse covered her hands. Within seconds, the voluptuous teen looked like she belonged in grade school.
Tencite smiled. "Quick and easy," he thought, "She'll be back in diapers before she knows what hit her." He wasn't worried about her transformation pen. As a baby, she wouldn't be able to say the words anyway. His smile dropped when he heard Amy cry.
Amy had watched everything as she drank from the bottle. Even as helpless as she felt, there was no way she was going to quit. With a great amount of effort, she'd finally managed to twist her mouth away from the nipple. Without hesitation, she'd let out the loudest scream she could manage.
The baby's cry broke Lita from her trance. She was confused. Her clothes felt funny and everything looked bigger. Looking back in Mr. Webster's direction, she jumped back in shock at how large he seemed, releasing a yelp of surprise as she did. The high pitch of her voice caused her to place her hands over her mouth as she cowered against the edge of her sofa.
Tencite sighed and said, "So much for easy." A ten year old Lita was staring at him in horror as he stood. The poor child's skirt had been pulled down her skinny legs as her large blouse covered her midsection. She knew she was no match for this man the way she was.
Immediately the child reached into her subspace pocket and pulled her transformation pen from it. Before she had a chance to utter a word however, a sliver of lightning struck the pen, causing it to fly from her grip.
"Naughty, naughty. We can't have Sailor Jupiter joining the party. She doesn't play nice," the man said before he lunged at her. Frantically, Lita tried to jump back over the side of the sofa but the man grabbed onto her skirt, catching her for a moment. Just as quickly however, she managed to slip out of the oversized garment and drop to the floor.
She couldn't see the pen so instead made a break for what she considered her only chance. As she padded across the floor, she heard the man say, "Lita, enough of this. Give up and I'll go easy on you."
She ignored him. Reaching her room, she locked the door behind her and reached into her desk drawer, pulling her compact out. Opening the device, she activated the emergency frequency which would contact every Scout at once. She didn't know what the man was but he definitely wasn't normal and soon his presence would be known. Glancing back at the door, Lita just hoped someone could react in time to save her.
When she looked again at the compact, her heart went cold. The screen showed nothing but static. "This can't be happening!" she wailed in a now high voice. Suddenly the doorknob behind her turned white hot and began to melt. Lita dropped her compact and ran for her phone. Picking the receiver up, she heard nothing. The line was dead.
Suddenly the door flew open with a kick and Lita watched the man enter the room. There was no where else to hide. Gathering her courage, Lita decided if she was going to go down, she'd at least put up a fight. Among the Scouts, she was the best martial artist and with any luck, her attacker might underestimate her, giving her an opening to at least get past him.
The man laughed as Lita took a fighting stance, which wasn't surprising considering her head barely came to his chest. She waited for him to close the distance between them before she executed a perfect roundhouse kick with her right leg, aimed at his stomach. Full grown, such a move would have been aimed at the head and could have knocked out an opponent twice her size. As she was now, Lita simply hoped to double her attacker over in pain.
Unfortunately for her, the kick never met its target as the man swung his arm in a downward stroke to knock her leg away.
"I'm afraid you'll have to do better than that," he said.
Regaining her balance, Lita immediately shot her other foot forward in an attempt to nail her opponent in the groin, but that attack too was blocked. Swinging her kicking leg back, she used the built up momentum to twist herself around and execute a reverse kick to the man's stomach. It was am impressive move, especially considering how unbalanced she felt. It met with no more success than her other attacks however. This time the man caught her foot and wrapped his right arm backward across her leg, trapping it.
"Playtime's over," the man snarled and grabbed a fistful of her blouse with his free hand.
Lita felt her bra strap tighten painfully under her arms as he lifted her from the floor. Before she even knew what was happening, she found herself flying helplessly through the air, her descent halted violently by the mattress of her bed. Regaining her senses, Lita realized she had to make a break for it.
Lita jumped to her feet and tried to scramble past the intruder but he managed to grab one of her ankles and began to drag her back to him.
"That's enough! Stop struggling!" the stranger yelled. Despite that, Lita kicked and fought as much as she could but felt herself being lifted into the air regardless of her efforts. It was when she landed across the stranger's legs that she truly became frightened.
"I've had just about enough of this!" he said as he pulled Lita's loose panties down her swinging legs. Cool air hit her bare bottom as she desperately tried to get away from his powerful grip. The first blow struck her with a sharp pain and she struggled harder, to no avail. The second and third struck immediately after, causing tears to come to her eyes. The blows continued, reducing her resistance even further as she howled in pain. By the tenth strike, a defeated Lita was bawling like a baby.
Tencite stopped after a few more blows and tossed the wailing child back onto the bed. Lita didn't try to run this time but instead curled up into a ball as she closed her eyes and cried.
Tencite stood and took in the scene, allowing his anger to fade. He'd mostly mastered his emotions over the centuries but now had allowed his anger to get the best of him. He had warned her not to run of course but still the lapse was inexcusable. Looking at the crying Lita, a part of him felt sorry for the girl. She had only tried to get away.
Not wasting any more time with his thoughts, he readied a time ball and threw it at the child on the bed.
The impact of the ball caused Lita to sit up with a start. She stared at herself in amazement as her huge blouse began to grow larger. "No! Stop it! Please stop it!" she cried, but the man simply stared at her. As her arms and torso became engulfed in fabric, her skinny legs pulled back into her body. Poor Lita was crying freely now as tears streamed down her face. She felt like a fool for letting this creature into her home and her inability to strike back was unbearable.
The blouse fell away as Lita's bare shoulders came free and her legs and feet became chubbier. Absently, the toddler stuck her thumb in her mouth as she stared wide-eyed in fear at the man who had done this to her.
Tencite smiled when he saw Lita's regression stop where Amy's had. About eighteen months. The only thing left of the once gorgeous teen was the tiny ponytail still held in place by her green hair tie. The baby now sat on the bed surrounded by her blouse which Tencite easily lifted her out of.
Tencite jostled the infant gently as he carried her back to the living room. He noticed with satisfaction that Amy was still in the carrier. Getting a lockable harness had been good foresight. As he walked into Amy's view, the baby Scout simply glared at him.
"Oh, don't be such a sourpuss. I've brought you a playmate," Tencite said.
Laying Lita on the sofa, Tencite quickly put her into a disposable diaper, the same way Lita had done to Amy minutes before.
The infant lay meekly on the cushion, keeping her thumb planted in her mouth. Tencite then released Amy and sat her down next to Lita. Ignoring the giant watching them, Amy crawled over to Lita and kneeled in front of her. Lita's eyes opened wide and for the first time she finally recognized her friend. Pulling the thumb slightly out, Lita managed to utter, "Aaammmmeeee?"
When the dark haired infant nodded sharply, Lita stuck her thumb back in, closed her eyes, and continued her tears.
Tencite closed the creaking door behind him as he entered the massive interior of an abandoned warehouse. In the center could be seen a small area lit by a single lamp. Within that area, a sofa was visible along with a TV tuned into some sitcom. As Tencite approached, he shifted his right arm to keep it from falling asleep. This caused Lita to stir from her slumber and she lifted her head from his shoulder. Tencite noted with amusement that her thumb never seemed to leave her mouth.
Looking down at the carrier in his left hand, he noticed that Amy too was awake. In fact, Sailor Mercury had remained awake the entire cab ride over. Tencite laughed to himself at that. The girl was probably trying to figure out their location, though there was no way she could have kept track of anything from her position.
Stopping behind the sofa, Tencite cheerfully exclaimed, "Honey, I'm home."
There was a stirring and suddenly a woman with shoulder length black hair popped her head up over the back of the cushions, her face dark in the flickering light of the TV.
"Ooooo, you brought presents!" she squealed when she saw what was in Tencite's arms.
"That depends. Did your mission go well?" Tencite asked.
The woman smirked widely. "As easy as `taking candy from a baby', so to speak," the woman giggled maniacally at her own joke then stopped and put a finger to her lips. "At least, I think it was that easy. I can confirm it later with these little darlings, can't I Tenny?"
"Of course you can, my dear," Tencite replied. "Girls, meet Nancy. She's an old comrade of mine. She'll also be your nanny while I see to it you have plenty of playmates."
"Hi girls," the woman said, waving at Amy and Lita. "We're gonna have so much fun together. As long as you're good, of course." The last was said in a deadly serious tone that caused Lita to bury her head back into Tencite's shoulder.
Nancy's tone immediately changed as she whined to Tencite, "Hey Tenny. Why'd I have to use that stupid cab to get back here? Why wouldn't you let me teleport?"
"Because, my dear, a teleport requires energy that might be detected by that Lunar Cat of Serena's. I want to remain secret for as long as possible," he explained. "Another thing, you're not on a mission anymore so take off that ridiculous costume."
Nancy stood and looked down at herself. She was still dressed as a nurse. "Oh, all right," she complained. Reaching her hand to her face, she grabbed her cheek and began to tear her skin off.
Lita, who was watching again, started to cry and squirm and Tencite felt her diaper get warm. Amy, for her part, stared wide-eyed at the scene in horror as Nancy tore her fake skin off to reveal a dark blue pallor underneath. The lower part of her dress tore also as four blue arms fought their way through the fabric. The lower pair proceeded to free her upper arms of fake skin as the middle pair finished the job on her head. In seconds, a blue, six-armed woman had replaced the old Nancy, her hair the same length but now pointed at the ends. Amy immediately knew she was looking at a Youma, a servant of the Negaverse.
The Youma's black lips peeled back into a grin as she made her way around the sofa. "Don't cry, sweetie. Nanny is here," she purred to Lita as she took the kicking, wailing infant from Tencite's arms. Holding the baby with her two upper arms, she walked over to a darkened area and turned on a light. A changing table and playpen were readily visible.
Holding her charge above the table, Nanny used her two middle arms to pull down Lita's diaper as her lower arms reached into the drawers of the table. For a few seconds, the struggling child was bare to the world, much to her tearful dismay. Nanny gently laid her onto the table and cleaned her with a baby wipe as another hand quickly powdered her. Yet another hand brought a cloth diaper up and she said, "Now, one thing that Nanny insists on is that her babies wear soft, cloth diapers. I'm just old fashioned that way." She swiftly wrapped the diaper onto Lita and tied its ends firmly. Picking Lita up for Tencite to see, Nanny exclaimed, "See, now you're Nanny's special little baby!"
Amy was sure the Youma had a screw loose. To her, Lita looked for all the world like a female version of cupid. Of course, this didn't stop a pit of fear from forming in her stomach when Nanny looked at her and asked, "And is wittle Amy ready for a comfy diaper? Why, yes she is!" |
