Shit, if I were him, I'd have just grabbed my money and walked out the door. I'd room with a friend, but due to the fact that I, in this case(and technically now I suppose), would be an adult, I'd have the right to walk out. Provided, of course, that he's 18 or older, but judging by the junior college comment, as well as the apartment one, I'm sure he could've simply walked out with no repercussions.

As for the step-mother, I kinda want to smack her in the face with a lead pipe. My opinion. The sister too.

Now, the whole de-aging thing kind of annoyed me though... I really wished it would've been something more realistic, but oh well.

As for critiquing: Good story, no major grammatical/spelling/structure errors that I could spot.(I said major, there are small ones, but unimportant ones) As well, I believe it's coming along nicely so far, keep it up.
